PROJECT COORDINATOR JOB VACANCY IN GUWAHATI- NGO JOB

We are hiring a Project Coordinator for a one year project for enhancement of our community learning centres. The position requires working with children, and women collectives in the areas of education, skill building, livelihood, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. People from Adivasi community are encouraged to apply, though the position is open to everyone.

We have not kept any educational qualification to include candidates who may not have been able to complete their graduation for some reason. However, the applicant must have good written documentation skill in English, and basic computer skills. The job requires active communication with various stake holders and Injot team members. Someone who is unwilling to and/or does not enjoy keeping communication channels active, this job is not for them.

Details:

Project Duration: 1 year (scope of extension)

Location: Guwahati (entails travel to Kokrajhar)

Remuneration: Rs. 8000-10,000 per month

Necessary Skills & Qualities:

- Should have good written documentation skills

- Good organisational skills

- Should be proficient in Assamese and English (Knowledge of Santali and/or Hindi will be helpful)

- Should be able to maintain active communication with all stake-holders

- Should have integrity towards their work and be open to learning

- Prior experience in development sector will be helpful though not mandatory
