Eligibility:
- Masters in Journalism/Communications or Masters in Rural Development or Social Work, Mass Communication or equivalent + (preferable) knowledge of video and photo capturing and editing tools/softwares
Age Limit: The age limit for applying is 35 years.
Experience required: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience
Salary/Pay: Rs 30,000- Rs 40,000 per month as per years of relevant experience
Works closely with: Communication & Fundraising Function/Personnel, Programme Director and Executive Director
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Fundraising
- Responsible for generating new leads for donations and manage relations with potential donors.
- Approaching potential amplifiers/influencers for promotion of the organization.
- Writing project proposals.
- Handling Social Media platforms of SeSTA
- Responsible for uplifting and building the overall online reputation and brand of SeSTA
- Oversee and manage all social media handles of SeSTA (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
- Create and execute Social Media Marketing/Promotion/Fundraising plan
- Create periodic and outcome specific social media marketing and fundraising campaigns in close alignment with expected fundraising targets
- Responsible for budget allocation of paid promotions
- Responsible for driving the organic as well as commercial plan for social media outreach and conversion
- Using google ads, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, email marketing tools effectively etc.
- Demonstrate skill in organic as well as paid/promotional content creation (creatives, captions, stories, etc) and publishing
- Regularly source and collate content for the purpose of social media campaigning, marketing and fundraising
- Organise seminars/webinars and events to improve organisation’s outreach. Ensure representation of SeSTA in relevant events to improve its visibility in the sector.
- Reporting
- Regular analytics reporting, measuring target v/s achievement, donation trends and potential for fundraising and sharing the same with the ED
- Overall responsibility of creatively designing and packaging varied reports (including the annual report), brochures, creatives, magazine, etc using various design softwares like indesign, illustrator, corel, photoshop, etc.
- Responsible for content conceptualization, creation, collation, coordination, dissemination of varied kinds of reports, case studies, promotional material, print collaterals, video creation and photo creation
- Oversee periodic donor reporting related deliverables, collate and create content for the same (both donor partners and individual donors)
- Designing and developing donor reports
- Conceptualize, create content and circulate monthly e-newsletter
- Designing and developing in house magazine ETOHOP and work towards its continuous upgradation and innovation.
- Documentation
- Curating and maintaining SeSTA media repository
- Maintaining external stakeholder database for the purpose of outreach
- Ensuring case studies and articles get published in relevant external publications. Seek relevant long term partnerships for the purpose such that the profile of the organisation is built over time.
- Constantly upgrade the video and photograph repository for the purpose of internal and external use
- Establish and maintain an up-to-date documentation for publications, photographic, audio-visual, graphic and other digital communication materials as a part of knowledge management
- Support Functions and Other tasks
- Support the IT unit in managing individual donor relationship portfolio using CRM software/s
- Support IT, MIS and MEL function as and when required and document project and organisation specific learning annually
- Support in appropriate implementation of branding standards and guidelines throughout the organisation and programs (including donor specific guidelines)
- Interfacing with media for amplifying SeSTA’s works
- Engaging in organizing workshops, seminars etc for enhancing brand visibility of SeSTA
- Travel to field locations as and when required
- Support field teams and provide need based documentation related handholding and support to them
Skills we are looking for:
- Communication and interpersonal skills, Good at storytelling and articulation,

- Good creative writing and content development skills
- Drive to achieve growth, willingness to push hard, ability to get things done, take fast decisions and resolve the matters
- Good Understanding and experience of sustainable livelihoods promotion and working with women collectives
- Good with numbers and Data, analytical thinking, and creating smart strategies based on analysis
- Competent at MS Excel, Power Point and other office tools
- Proficient in English and local languages, Documentation and presentation skills: Verbal,
- Written and IT knowledge of video and photo capturing and editing tools/softwares
