Seven Sisters Development Assistance (SeSTA) is a professionally managed and field-based rural development organization in NE India. Currently working in Assam, Meghalaya & Tripura, and the mission of SeSTA is to catalyze inclusive and sustainable development in NE India by
building capabilities of rural people. Our work involves creating livelihoods for the rural poor in agriculture, natural resource management, and livestock by mobilizing poor disadvantaged women into self help groups (SHG). For more information kindly visit www.sesta.org.
Name of Post : Executive Trainee
Eligibility:
We are looking for passionate young persons who have urge to work for rural disadvantaged communities to bring meaningful changes in their lives, with a professional degree in B.Sc(Agri), BVSc, BFSc, B.Tech or with a postgraduate degree (MA, MCom, MSW, MBA, MSc, MVsc, M. Tech, MSc (Agri) having at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in last qualified exams. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.
Age Limit: The age limit for applying is 27 years.
Salary/Pay:
Gross Stipend/Salary Rs. 18000 + Local Conveyance for first 12 Months. On successful
completion of 1 yr probation/ training period, Gross Salary will be approximately Rs. 30400/- (As Executive).
Nature of job:
The job will be a field-based work and will need extensive travelling to rural areas. Selected
candidates will have to stay in villages for village stay and village study as part of their training
and after completion of village study they may be posted in our locations in Districts of our
working areas (namely the districts of Chirang, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Barpeta, Karbianglong,
Nalbari, Darrang, Majuli and Kamrup(Rural) of Assam and South west garo hill of Meghalaya and
West Tripura district of Tripura.
Process Of Selection:
a. Non Verbal Reasoning and test of English
b. Group Discussion
c. Personal Interview
d. Rural Stay Test (7days in a village in one of our project location)
Last Date of Submitting Bio-Data: 10th March 2020.
No Bio Data will be acceptable after the above mentioned date and incomplete Bio Data will also not be considered.Date of Selection and venue will be intimated to shortlisted candidates by phone and mail.
