Applications are invited from eligible Female candidates having below 45 years of age as on
1st January, 2020 for the following positions for engagement in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika
Vidyalaya (KGBV) .(A Residential Schools for Girls, ClassVI-X). The engagement will be purely
temporary & contractual basis initially for a period of 11 (eleven) months. The contractual
engagement will neither be regularized under Samagra Siksha nor will be absorbed under any
Job/Government of Assam in future.

➣ Non TET Candidates may also apply for the above positions subject to fulfillment of essential
Qualification.
➣ Only in case of Non-availability of TET qualified candidate, Non TET candidates will be
selected but the selected candidate should qualify Secondary TET within.3 consecutive
TET examinations. Salary for Non TET candidate, if selected against the position in Sl.
1-2 (Full Time Assistant Teacher) will be Rs. 15000/- only.
➣ Full Time Assistant Teachers will have to stay within the School cum Hostel Campus in all
working days and in holidays except during the vacation when KGBV children will go home
for vacation.

How to apply

One candidate can apply for one position only.
Application in Standard Form (ASSAM GAZETTE, PART-IX) with self attested all relevant
documents/Passport size Photograph should be submitted to the District Mission Co-
ordinator. SSA, Nagaon, during office hours on or before 11th March’ 2020. Any Postal delay
will not be considered. Incomplete application. Application without relevant documents will
be summarily rejected.
List of shortlisted candidates with date, venue & time of Verification cum interview will be
circulated on the Office Notice Board by the District Mission Co-ordinator, SSA, Nagaon on
17 03.2020. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the verification Cum interview
on the date time to be fixed for this purpose with all original testimonials. No separate call
letters will be issued.
No TA/DA will be paid for the attending the verification cum Interview.
