DEPUTY SECRETARY ASSAM GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (B) DEPARTMENT JOB VACANCY 2020 FOR GRADE III POST

Applications are invited from the intending employees of Secretariat Service / similar
other services of Secretariat and Heads of Department of the State in the standard
form (as prescribed in part IX of Assam Gazette) for filling up of 3 (three) nos. of
sanctioned vacant posts of Room Supervisor, Gr-Ill posts in the office of the Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi in the pay scale of Rs. 14000-49000 /- + GP= Rs. 6200 (PB-2) + other allowances as admissible under rule. Last date of submission of Application is fixed on 28/03/2020 upto 4.00PM. Applications are to be addressed to the Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, General Administration (B) Department, 2nd floor, Block-A, Janata Bhawan, Dispur, Guwahati-6 by post only. Envelope containing application should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for.

2. Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000-49000 /- + GP= Rs. 6200 /- . (PB-2)

3. Age: As per O.M No.AAP115/72/Pt.I/194 dated 10/03/2008 candidates must not
be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 1st January’ 2020.
The Upper age is relaxable by 5(five) years in respect of SC/ST candidates and
3(three) years for OBC/MOBC and as per rules. The age of candidates will be
calculated on the basis of Birth Certificate/Matriculation Certificate/HSLC Admit/
Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No other documents shall be
acceptable in lieu thereof for the purpose.

4. Educational Qualification:
(i) For the post of Room Supervisor, the minimum educational qualification of
the candidates shall be Higher Secondary examination from a recognised
University/Board or any examination declared equivalent thereof by
Government .
(ii) Only in service candidate will be considered for appointment.

5. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

6. How To Apply :
i) Application in standard form (as prescribed in part IX of Assam Gazette) with
supporting documents/ testimonials and 2 (two) copies of latest passport size
photographs along with 1 (one) no. of self addressed envelope of 11 cm x 5
cm size affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- (five) only must be enclosed with the
application. The name of the post applied for should be super scribed on the
envelope bearing the application addressed to the Deputy Secretary to the
Govt. of Assam, General Administration (B) Department, 2nd floor, Block-A,
Janata Bhawan, Dispur, Guwahati-6
ii) The candidate must apply for the post in the Standard Form through proper
channel and submit the following documents:
a. A copy of appointment letter of present post,
b. Self attested copies of Birth Certificate/HSLC Certificate/HSLC Admit and
HSLC Marksheet
c. Self attested copies of HS Marksheet/HS Certificate
d. Caste certificate(if applicable)
e. EWS certificate(if applicable).
f. NOC from the appointing authority/ Controlling Officer to apply for the post
iii) Candidate must produce all original documents at the time of test.
iv) Application received lately or without proper supporting documents and
incomplete/defective/invalid application will be summarily rejected.
7. Candidates on their new appointment, seniority will be fixed as per existing rules
& norms.
8. Pay will be protected as per FR SR 22(i) (a) (1), FR SR 22(i) (a) (2) and FR SR
22(i) (a) (3)
9. Screening test will be held if the numbers of applicants are more than the available
numbers of posts.
10. There will be Screening Committee to select the candidates for the posts
mentioned above.
Selection of candidates will be provisional and the committee has the rights to
accept or reject the candidature of any candidate at any stage of recruitment
after proper scrutiny of the documents/ testimonials. The decision of the Screening
Committee will be final and binding.
11. The Selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the appropriate
authority that they will abide by New Pension Rules of the Govt issued vide
Finance Department’s O.M No.BW.7/2008/Pt/40 dated 06.10.2009.
12. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the recruitment process.
13. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
